Piping Spools Cost Estimate Rx

The purpose of this template is to speed up the estimating part of quoting a custom piping job.  The format is easy to check against drawings and bills of material.  It does not capture or calculate direct labor time, but it could.  It produces a budgetary project cost.  When you are in a market where early quotes get more consideration, speed in estimating is good.

This estimating template includes data for standard weight pipe and class 150 components.  Threaded instrument connections are 3000# couplings.  Data for these components is in the Parts List tab.  Data for other components can be added.  All joints are open root pipe welds.   Data for the direct labor tasks to produce pipe spools is stored in the Labor Factors tab.  The direct labor data must be edited to match your processes and rates.
